Police are investigating the unnatural death of a 16 year-old Chong Boon Secondary School student this morning. The boy reportedly collapsed during a Physical Education (PE) lesson after completing his 2.4KM run in school, and died shortly after in hospital.

Soldiers in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will soon be fitted with new shoes from German brand adidas and American endurance sports brand Zoot from as early as the end of the year. Sharing this on his Facebook page today (Aug 24), Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said he was “delighted” with the Asics shoes that the SAF supplied. “They were high quality and have given me many hours of happy walking and jogging. In fact, the picture shows my third pair since it was introduced,” he said.
