CLASSY MALAYSIAN MEDIA TALKS ABT ATHLETES THAT DID'NT WIN GOLD VS SG MEDIA

The difference between how the Malaysian media talks about their athletes that don't win gold medals vs. how the Singaporean media talk about theirs.

Rather embarrassing behavior from the local media, from them chewing out Quah Zheng Wen to this. Regardless of how they do or what media sound bites they don't give you, these athletes represent the country and we should be so proud of them. It wasn't that long ago that we glorified our athletes regardless, but you win just ONE gold medal and suddenly that's the new minimum requirement.

MINISTERS FLY THEMSELVES TO RIO, BUT SAIYIDAH AISYAH HAD TO CROWDFUND TO JOIN OLYMPICS

Three people and three people alone. They are standing in this picture framed in the glory that should be theirs and theirs alone. Always remember that.

BLOGFATHER MR BROWN DEFENDS QUAH ZHENG WEN AGAINST TNP REPORTER, LEONARD THOMAS

"As various interviews were going on elsewhere along the line, we waited a little longer, before Quah emerged at one end, and walked past us all without breaking stride, only saying "Hi guys", before disappearing…
I just wished he stood up to face questions instead of walking off.
Because at this level, that is what athletes do…"
