I do not care why David Ong resigned, I do not want to know why he resign. For all we know, he has come down with serious illness and all he wants now is peace and quiet to recuperate. Speculation of such is pointless, it is smarter to think forward. This time is ripe and the opportunity has come. I think it is time for Dr Chee Soon Juan to return to Parliament. Dr Chee's fiery performances during GE2015 has given the 30 percent of Singaporeans hope that one day we will have a multi-party Government. This is the time for Dr Chee to prove his mantle and put his words into actions.

PAP MUST COME CLEAN OVER SHOCK RESIGNATION, “PERSONAL REASONS” IS A LOUSY EXCUSE

Shocking news that PAP MP David Ong for Bukit Batok SMC has resigned suddenly. What's more puzzling is the reason given by David Ong for his resignation. He states that he has to resign for 'personal reasons' and that's it? Is this the responsible politics we expect from the PAP? What about the majority of Bukit Batok residents who gave him the mandate? Is he abandoning them for personal reasons, is this how a responsible man behaves? Where is the transparency and accountability?

S Korean PM resigns over govt handling of Sewol ferry disaster

South Korean Prime Minister Chung Hong-won resigned yesterday over the government’s handling of a ferry sinking that has left more than 300 people dead or missing, blaming “deep-rooted evils” in society for the tragedy. South Korean executive power is largely concentrated in the President, so Mr Chung’s resignation appears to be symbolic. Presidential spokesman Min Kyung-wook said President Park Geun-hye would accept the resignation, but did not say when Mr Chung would leave office.
