Following a contribution from one of our readers, it was reported that many other home owners were also left in the lurch after John Yong from B Z Interior MIA after the home owners made payment for renovations. It is believed that about 15 home owners suffered the same plight. Yong reportedly called Straits Times to declare that he "is not a cheat". He explained that the renovation works were merely delayed as he had cash-flow problems

Please be careful with this person!!! His known as 'DAVID TOH' his contact nomber I engage him as ID to my house renovation and I paid $54k to him but he doesn't complete his work and left uncontactable since last week

Came back from work and greeted with small little streams of water flowing down the walls of my kitchen. My unit upstairs is doing renovation and has just done some hacking last week. I'm pretty sure the waterproofing is damaged because of the hacking. So as the below unit, I got to suffer I've done my googling and in a nutshell, this should be what will happen.

Everyday this uncle keeps moving or pushing his furnitures, dropped his hammer purposely on the floor(I am staying below him). He always did his so-called furnitures restoration between 10.30pm-5am. I don't understand why he always do these at the room near to the corridor at these timing? I am just sleeping below and i can hear very clearly these noises is from his house.

I'm posting this to create awareness on this SCAMMER Interior Design Company aka the Boss - DESMOND TAN. He engage my company to install air-conditioners for his clients, paid only the first 30% downpayment. Upon completion of the installation, he dragged and gave us 2 backdated cheques but still was bounced. Called & confronted him, he said to give him a few more days for his customer to pay him back. Few days after, his company phone was cut off, We called the client of his & realize payment had been paid to him in full. Which mean he had took the money & refused to pay us.

We are staying in our new BTOs along Yishun Avenue 1 Blk 431D and several of us here have noticed crack lines appearing in every room in our flats, after renovation commenced above us. We are worried about safety and have reported this issue to HDB. However, as the DLP just hit 1 year, they mentioned that they could not do anything much.

They had permit, for period between 1x Nov 2014 to 1x Dec 2014. That is the only HDB reno permit that I ever saw outside their unit. From then until now, many things happened, like they complained my toilet leaked, got to get my own contractor to settle. It was around May that still not settled. I asked my contractor if he knew why their work dragged so long, he said that guy told him something like their contractor kena accident, blah blah blah.

We lived through an extremely difficult period a few years ago through excruciating, unbearable noise when the drains around the perimeter of a few blocks in our estate was broken. What was puzzling was that we found nothing wrong with the drains as can be seen in these pictures which were all taken BEFORE they were broken.

Please help me post this to warn others about this conman! I hope that no one else will get cheated by him in future. The conman is Loy Chuang Yee, the director of renovation company Decor Creative Construction Pte Ltd. I engaged him to do some home renovations since March this year but after making initial deposit and payments, he started to make lots of excuses and started delaying the work. He kept delaying and making excuses and in the end my home is not done at all, it is left looking like a construction site and he has not refunded me my money.
