Former human rights lawyer M Ravi has been offered bail of $20,000 following his remand at the Institute of Mental Health. He is banned from posting on social media and from disturbing anyone or committing any offence. He was said to have accepted the bail conditions.

48 year old Mohammad Rosli Abdul Rahim has been charged for allegedly killing Mohammad Roslan Zaini 2 days ago at Teck Whye Crescent. He will be remanded for a week for investigations and will appear in court on 25 Aug. He may face the death penalty if convicted of murder.

A 40-year-old woman who was allegedly involved in a fight at a Teochew Porridge Restaurant was remanded at IMH after likely suffering from post-natal depression. Pang Pei Pei had previously gone to IMH for treatment but did not go for further follow-ups. She did not take her medication too. Her 5-month old daughter is placed under another person's care at the moment. Pang Pei Pei was charged for being involved in rash act at the eatery together with 3 men who threw furniture at the Teochew porridge counter. They were reportedly enraged because of their $28 bill. Pang will be back in court on 20 June while a few of the men are currently out on bail.
