Few days back an Anonymous video was circulating on social media which claims that the party has been infiltrated by foreign proxies. The video also named several PSP members and claimed that they are disrupting PSP from helming the next stage of Singapore. After police reports were made and PSP did their own internal investigation, they found out that the person who created and spread the video was their own party member Daniel Teo Weilong.

A PAP MP and potential candidate were recently seen attempting to score political points by doing walkabouts despite Circuit Breaker. However political veteran Ravi Philemon showed the hypocrisy of certain politicians in a recent Facebook post. Ravi Philemon featured a screenshot of a selfless community activist, who continued with charitable deeds in a discreet and caring manner. The screenshot revealed how community activists buy and drop off groceries at ungodly hours, just to avoid physical contact with the vulnerable.

Ravi Philemon: 3 Instances Of POFMA Invoked, All Against Articles Critical Of Govt

I am concerned that there have been 3 instances of Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act (POFMA) being invoked - all against articles critical of the government. My view is that POFMA was indeed passed ahead of a General Election which is looming. The Government has a track-record of enacting laws targeting online criticisms and ahead of elections for the last 10 years.

The reason I participate in civil society and opposition politics is because I believe that no matter how good the Goverment is, it is in the interest of the country and its citizens to have checks and balances. FORMER NSP CHIEF JUMPS SHIP TO JOIN CHIAM SEE TONG

51-year old lawyer Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss has resigned from National Solidarity Party (NSP) last week and applied to join Singapore People's Party (SPP) which is helmed by veteran politician Mr Chaim See Tong. Mrs Chong-Aruldoss failed in her bid for NSP Presidency in party elections last January and left along with former council members Ravi Philemon, Bryan Long, and party member Osman Sulaiman. She acknowledged that their decision to leave came in the wake of the central executive committee (CEC) election results.
