GE2020: MSM Smears Peoples Voice Party Lim Tean Over Bankruptcy Claims

The 158th state media published a story about Peoples Voice Party (PVP) Secretary-General Lim Tean facing two bankruptcy applications over $1.45 million. Later that night, Lim Tean responded to this smear article with a Facebook post "When You Fear, You Smear!". Lim Tean rubbished ST's claims about him about to become bankrupted, clarifying that "Let me make it clear. I am not going to be bankrupted, and it is total rubbish that I owe $1 450 000!" He even shared how ST faked that they tried calling him for comments because he never received any calls or queries.

People’s Voice Party Made Right Judgment Calls For Covid19

Secretary-General of People's Voice Party (PVP) Lim Tean had cautioned against the reopening of schools a week before 2 June 2020. It looks like PVP was proven right when state media reported four students and one school employee tested positive for Covid19. Lim Tean reminds voters that PVP has been the only Party that has been right about Covid19 since February 2020, and he attributed these right judgment calls because PVP, unlike the PAP, has been putting People First!

Politician Lim Tean To Challenge POFMA Over Post On Ho Ching Salary

On 19 April 2020 the POFMA office said "several online posts" had made false statements that Temasek Holdings Chief Executive Ho Ching had an annual salary of "around S$100 million". Minister of Finance Heng Swee Keat instructed four correction directions to be issued. One of those four include People's Voice Party (PVP) chief Lim Tean for “sharing the falsehood on his Facebook page”. Politician Lim Tean has shared that he will be challenging this latest POFMA. He questions the basis of using POFMA over an article when the truth or real information is not revealed. His view is that POFMA is being used to silence PAP critics and free speech.
