The crux of this issue is again the appointment of FM Solutions and Services (FMSS) as AHPETC's managing agent. The town council, now managed by the PAP, has said that they will study the troubling report, and will seek legal advice on how to proceed. We await the latest development in this saga, as it does seem that this will not go away any time soon. If there is any wrongdoing, then make a police report and let the proper authorities handle this. If there are no wrongdoing, then we should all just move on and stop bringing this matter up every few months, as if to remind everyone that opposition managed wards are not up to scratch. Surely this is not the case, right?

It is NOT a RESPONSIBLE decision to put a person with KNOWN SERIOUS Health Problem up as a candidate for GE. Worse still, did not disclose or declare his serious health conditions during the GE.

Recently Minister Ng Eng Hen praised PAP MP Charles Chong for contesting in Punggol East SMC in the 2015 General Election despite knowing that he has liver failure.

The ruling PAP has announced that Punggol East MP Charles Chong has been incapacitated and will be on 2 months of medical leave as a result of a "planned medical procedure".

I am a Punggol East Resident and on Thursday evening on my way home from work I was pleasantly surprised yet honoured to realise my precinct cleanliness is maintained by 2 Town Councils as shown in the photographs attached taken by me.

The Land Transport Authority has informed that a temporary road that connects Punggol East to the KPE will open this Saturday at 3 p.m. (26 Mar 2016). This new road is single-lane and it spans across Sungei Serangoon. The temporary road will only serve vehicles with a height of up to 2.4 metres and an unladen weight of 2,500kg. This will provide motorists from the area with a more direct link to KPE.

I think these are some strategies that PAP can use to deal with Punggol East where 48.24% voted for WP. PAP has to think of how to solve this problem because they won with just over 51% with an old man candidate. The old man, if he lasts through the whole term, will probably be retiring at the next GE for sure. How can he serve after he is 68 years old?

According to Mr Charles Chong, Member of Parliament for Punggol East (PE) single member constituency (SMC), the handover of accounts for PE Town Council has been progressing, with both parties eager to "move on" and complete the handover by 1st December - which is the deadline set by the Ministry of National Development.

Here are some strange reasons why Singaporeans may have voted for the PAP challenger Charles Chong in Punggol East during GE2015. A majority of sinkies do not seem concerned about national issues during elections. So why should they be complaining about national issues after elections? Are you appalled at their reasons for voting PAP's Charles Chong?

Without that increase of 3,278 votes, there was no way that Lee Li Lian would have lost. Her figures went down by 244. Plus and minus the increase in voters vs deaths and absenteeism, an increase in an SMC's figures should not cross more than 1 to 2% as Potong Pasir demonstrates. Even if we give all the votes KJ and Desmond got to Charles Chong and add a marginal normal increase in electors, you would only expect the PAP's totals to increase by 1,000 to 2,000.
