PUNGGOL EAST TOWN COUNCIL SAGA NOT OVER, AUDITORS CLAIMED THEY COULD HAVE SAVED $500K

The crux of this issue is again the appointment of FM Solutions and Services (FMSS) as AHPETC's managing agent. The town council, now managed by the PAP, has said that they will study the troubling report, and will seek legal advice on how to proceed. We await the latest development in this saga, as it does seem that this will not go away any time soon. If there is any wrongdoing, then make a police report and let the proper authorities handle this. If there are no wrongdoing, then we should all just move on and stop bringing this matter up every few months, as if to remind everyone that opposition managed wards are not up to scratch. Surely this is not the case, right?

NEW TEMPORARY RD TO CONNECT PUNGGOL EAST TO KPE THIS SAT

The Land Transport Authority has informed that a temporary road that connects Punggol East to the KPE will open this Saturday at 3 p.m. (26 Mar 2016). This new road is single-lane and it spans across Sungei Serangoon. The temporary road will only serve vehicles with a height of up to 2.4 metres and an unladen weight of 2,500kg. This will provide motorists from the area with a more direct link to KPE.

WILL PUNGGOL EAST SMC CEASE TO EXIST NEXT GENERAL ELECTION?

I think these are some strategies that PAP can use to deal with Punggol East where 48.24% voted for WP. PAP has to think of how to solve this problem because they won with just over 51% with an old man candidate. The old man, if he lasts through the whole term, will probably be retiring at the next GE for sure. How can he serve after he is 68 years old?

Even if we give all the votes KJ and Desmond got to Charles Chong and add a marginal normal increase in electors, you would only expect the PAP's totals to increase by 1,000 to 2,000.
