BRITON FT GETS JAIL FOR PUNCHING POLICE OFFICER

Briton Alex Arrash Ariana, 34, was drunk when he assaulted the officer outside the nightclub at Clarke Quay. The Briton frequently travels to Singapore for work, and he was here on a wrok assignment when the assault occurred.

The altercation started when the drunk man had an argument with the security manager of the club. The team of police officers had approached him to tell him to relax, but he started to behave aggressively towards the officer. The officers then proceeded to arrest him after he started being rowdy, but that was when he struck Chen.

PRISONS OFFICER WENT BERSERK AFTER PROMOTER ASKED HIM IF HE WAS A PR

Have we as a society come to this now? Taking offence because someone doubt we are actually as Singaporean as him? The prison officer, Nur Azam Ab Rahman was approached by the promoter, Mr Cheng Chin Lin at Tampines Bus Interchange. Mr Cheng than asked Azam if he was a Singaporean or a Singapore PR, which was a normal question in the course of his work, and a question he will ask everyone.

However, Azam took offence a the question, and when Cheng tried to calm him down, Azam punched him. This led to Cheng to try to hold on to his bag to prevent Azam from leaving, to which Azam responded by punching and kicking him several times. The scuffle escalated to the point that Cheng even had Azam in a headlock. A bystander than broke up the scuffle, but not before Azam was in another headlock by Cheng, and Azam continued to kick and punch Cheng.

What kind of a human being punch, kick and step on a 4 year old just because he was angry with her? Even a monster would show compassion to its own young. This vile person, who is clearly not fit to be called a human being, assaulted his four-year-old stepdaughter so brutally that she suffered a broken rib, a buckle fracture on her forearm as well as bruises all over.

All in all, doctors who examined the poor girl found 29 injuries that were the result of two months of physical and psychological abuse by the 26 year old man who carries the moniker stepfather. Amongst the many acts of physical abuse he performed on the girl, were hitting the girl on the head using the base of a broken fan, used a slipper to hit her head until she bled, slapped her on the face, punched her, bit her arms, pulled her hair, kicked her abdomen, punched her face and chest, strangled her and twisted her arms.

TWO PUNCHES TO THE FACE RESULTS IN DEATH OF MAN @ ANCHORVALE

2 men fought over money at a coffeeshop in Anchorvale, but one of them winded up dead after taking 2 punches to the face. Catering safety officer Tay Eng Soon, 53, had gotten into an argument with another man, Mr Lim Keow Chye, 49, over donations that the man's late wife had collected for a temple in Thailand.
