Some female employees at a local home-grown bank are reportedly moonlighting by offering sexual services to clients, according to a Taiwanese living in Singapore. In a blog post in May, Kathy Chen asked if Singaporean bank employees really possess ‘high moral values’ and ‘integrity’ as claimed: “As a Taiwanese, and having stayed in Singapore for a brief period, I have discovered a few female employees from the same bank, UNITED OVERSEAS BANK SINGAPORE, but different branches, to be moonlighting as such, offering sexual services for a monthly compensation or per meeting compensation of SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 or SGD 400 to SGD 500 respectively.”

Five arrested for taking part in prostitution activities in AMK HDB flat

Four women and one man have been arrested by police for their suspected involvement in vice activities in a Housing Board flat in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6. They were caught taking part in sexual activities in the flat at about 9.30pm on Monday, June 2. The 39-year-old man was arrested for having paid sex with a minor, police said in a statement on Thursday evening.

61 arrested in forested areas in Punggol for vice and gambling offences

SINGAPORE: Sixty-one foreign nationals were arrested in the forested areas in Punggol during an operation on Friday night. The suspects are believed to have used the cover of the forest for various illicit activities such as vice and gambling. The suspects, comprising men and women, were arrested for wilful trespass on state land or offences under the Women's Charter. If found guilty, they may be fined up to S$1,000.
