A reader has sent us a photograph taken of an unidentified person sitting on the priority seat in the MRT. According to our reader, the person appears to be a man who had zipped himself up in a jacket to cover his head, possibly to prevent others from taking photos of him while he sat and rested in the priority seat.

MOTHER DEMANDS PRIORITY MRT SEAT FOR CHILD DESPITE SEATED COMMUTER FEELING SICK

This reserved seating is really pissing me off. Why is it only people on the reserved seat have to give up their seat? Yes I'm on reserved seat & I do note that your kid is in front of me. But to be honest, I don't think your kid needs the seat more than I do when I'm sick & when I have the tendency to faint. If you could have asked me politely for the seat, I would certainly give my seat up for you. Not "Eh you on the reserved seat. You cannot see my kid here?" I have already told you that I'm unwell & I'm feeling giddy but you still insisted on me giving up the seat as I'm on the reserved seat.
