A netizen has submitted a Facebook post which alleges that an art work purportedly drawn by a principal of a primary school promotes homosexuality.

My girl is 8 years old. The boy I think is P1 kid. I do not know the kid name. This guy see my girl and target her. She not even playing with him. He just target her and push her spilling her soup. She burnt her hand as a result. She today play with other friends and was pushed behind by him for nothing.

My daughter has been very friendly in school but recently she has been bullied by a younger boy whom punch,push and kick her. Just April and my girl has sustained severe injuries twice to thrice which is not her own fault. She was pushed down and till now it still hurt from Jan as it never got to recover due to getting hurt on the knee.

They told parents to stick to simple birthday parties for their children, such as just singing a birthday song instead of celebrating with cakes or gifts. Loansharks are now targeting primary schools to leave their vandalism mark, just to get back at the people who are presumed to owe them money. Their modus operandi now changed, from targeting block of flats where debtors live, to schools where their children go to. The latest incident occurred at White Sands Primary School, where splashes of red paint streaked the wall beside the school's main gate in Pasir Ris Street 11, while "O$P$" was daubed in black paint. Police say this incident is related to loansharking activities. This is not the first time a school had been targeted. Last month, a man was convicted of splashing paint at a Tanjong Pagar pre-school attended by a debtor's children.

A 9 year old primary 3 school female student in a Jurong area Primary school was poisoned after a male classmate poured dettol into her water bottle, hoping to poison her. For those of you who feel that PSLE determines our children's happiness, I understand your concerns. Many parents have different views on exams and assessment etc. May I suggest that we focus more on our own parenting efforts? I think we are on really shaky grounds if PSLE is the main determinant of our children having a happy childhood.
