The Presidency has been modified so thoroughly, and abused so much for political reasons (by the PAP), that it is nothing more than just another exclusive club for selected (and favoured) elites. Elites who, given Singapore society, are necessarily from the PAP or PAP-linked network.

PAP Minister Yaacob Ibrahim has excluded himself from the upcoming presidential election which is reserved for Malay candidates only. In an interview with Berita Minggu published yesterday, the current cabinet minister for Communications and Information said he prefers to do policy work and would not run.

As a Singaporean Malay, I am deeply insulted with the PAP Government move to reserve the coming Presidential Election ONLY for Malay candidates. By reserving the Presidential Election to the Malays, the PAP Government has in fact directly play the RACISM card, and looking down on the Malay Community as a whole.

I never had to make a distinction between races before. I wasn't brought up that way. For the first time in life, I felt that we had to make a distinction between races because our next president had to be a specific race.

Ah, Singapore, where the Prime Minister can talk about things coming into force *when*, not if, amendments are made to legislation next January, because our Parliament is such that when the Government wants to do something, sure can one.

Message to my friends and supporters Many Singaporeans including Netizens, have expressed their concern that the Constitutional Commission's report has excluded me from the 2017 Presidential Election

At the last Presidential Elections of 2011, some 738,000 Singaporeans voted for me. Many of my friends and supporters have asked if l intend to contest in the forthcoming Presidential elections in 2017. I owe them an answer. This Friday 11th march 2016 I, l shall let Singaporeans know of my intention.

The next Election is for the Singapore President. The fact that PAP's sponsored Tony Tan got only 35% of the votes at the last Presidential Elections speaks for itself. Tony Tan is likely to go into history as the least favoured SG Elected President with only 35% of Singaporeans voting for him. What a disgrace! Will PAP dare to go into the next Presidential Election, sponsoring a preferred candidate to face another more popular candidate?
