I am hoping you can be the “voice of the people”. The lifts will often get stuck at various levels and stop working. And more often than not, they will stop at a level and the doors cannot close fully – residents have to push both sides of the door to get it closed so that it continues moving. Being a new estate, we have no Residents’ Committee (RC) formed. We can only call the Town Council, email our MP (Ms Sun Xueling) for help. I had purchased insurance (hospital (CPF) + no cash coverage) policy for my kids from Great Eastern Insurance company on 30 Oct 15, my son was admitted to Thomson Medical Centre (since baby have been visiting TMC) and they asked me to pay a deposit of $1,050 claiming that there are not able to see any policy from the system hence there is no so called letter of guarantee.

Based on a Land Transport Authority announcement Wednesday morning (14 Jan 2015), there will be 4,705 COEs up for bidding every month from Feb - April. This is a 18.3% jump in supply from previous months. This increase in COE supply is expected to persist for the next 2 to 3 years and LTA expects COE premiums to fall in the coming months.

MediShield Life premiums will remain the same for the first five years, said Minister for Health Gan Kim Yong. The assurance on the new universal health insurance scheme was given by Mr Gan on Saturday, a day after the MediShield Life Review Committee unveiled its recommendations. He also said the standardised Integrated Shield Plan for Class B1 wards will likely start along with MediShield Life at the end of 2015.
