PRC TOURIST PRAISED FOR CLEANING UP BISCUIT MESS AFTER EATING AT CHANGI AIRPORT

My friend was at Changi Airport Terminal 1 Gate C19 when he saw this PRC lady tourist eating her biscuits while seated on the lounge chair. To his surprise, after eating her biscuits, this lady cleaned up the biscuit crumbs that had fallen onto the chair and disposed the mess nicely in a litter bin nearby. He was truly impressed by this Chinese lady's act of civic mindedness. He shared this because usually news about PRC Chinese is negative and thought this is a breath of fresh air and worthy of praise.

PRC TOURIST HIT BY SBS BUS OUTSIDE LITTLE INDIA TEMPLE

A 56 year-old PRC tourist was hit by an SBS bus outside the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Little India yesterday afternoon. According to witnesses, the PRC had tried to take a better picture of the temple and stepped out onto the road, ignoring the busy traffic and the fast moving bus.

8 IN 10 PINOYS POLLED SCARED OF A WAR WITH CHINA

In a recent survey conducted by the Philippines' Social Weather Stations (SWS), 8 in 10 Filipinos are afraid of a possible armed conflict between the Philippines and China over the disputed Scarborough Shoal islands in the South Chin Sea. 84% of respondents said they were worried about armed conflict with China, and 49% said they "worried a great deal", said the SWS. The survey was conducted from March 20 to 23, using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents throughout the Philippines.

DOG LOVER COMPLAINS ABOUT PRC SHOP SELLING DOG MEAT AT JURONG

According to one "Aileen Tan", she discovered a PRC shop called Song Hua Jiang Restaurant selling braised dog meat on their menu. The address of the restaurant: Blk 350 Jurong East Ave 1 #01-1233 S(600350). She asked SPCA whether the sale of dog meat is legal in Singapore. She also posted a link to the menu of the restaurant which allegedly sells the dog meat item in its menu. Another concerned reader has also contributed a photo of the offensive menu item.
