GOVT GIVES OUT CITIZENSHIP TO PRCS LIKE TOILET PAPER

I was offered a 3 months contract job in a local construction company which is fully owned by China PRC, now a citizen, and run the China way. All my full time colleagues are China PR. I am the only local contract staff there to replace a PR who was on maternity leave. During my 3 months, I was surprise that 4 individual PR have applied for citizenship and was all approved. Do we really need all these citizen ?

8 YEARS SINCE I AM A SG CITIZEN. BUT ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO GO HOME.

It's been 11 years since I have lived in Singapore and be part of the daily grind. I have a group of close SG friends. Work isn't too bad, it puts food on the table. Now that my grandma has passed, I really feel like sending my parents over over so that I can fulfill my duties as a daughter and take care of them. However, my father has to work for a few more years in China before I can send him over here. I have thought of sending my mother over first. However, my father is incapable of taking care of himself. If I send for my mother, we would be worried about him living alone. Life is so unpredictable. Who knows what will happen tomorrow? It may seem a little silly, but I am considering to return to China for a couple of years so I can take care of them. Maybe, I can start a family too. However, my job industry is too niche and I do not know if I will be employable back home. I just want to be able to care for my parents before it is to late.

TAICHI BTW ICA & MOM OVER LTVP APPLICATION CAUSED ME & WIFE HUGE MENTAL DISTRESS

On the 16 Dec 2015, I went to ICA to submit my PR application and since I'm there, I decided to also check on my LTVP application status as it has been 7+ weeks after my application but I've no news on the outcome. I was greeted with a smile from the officer and he asked for my NRIC politely. However he suddenly sounded nonchalantly that I should continue to wait. And since I've went to see my MP, the waiting time would take longer and I should not have done that. So what is the officer implying by saying that by looking up my MP, the waiting time will be longer and why is that so?

9 UNEMPLOYED S’POREANS FOR EVERY UNEMPLOYED SPR & FOREIGNER?

As to “There were 3,644,000 persons in employment in September 2015 … An estimated 56,600 residents, including 51,100 Singapore citizens were unemployed in September 2015. The seasonally adjusted figures were 66,800 for residents and 59,800 for citizens” – I estimate the unemployment rate for PRs and foreigners to be 2.35% and 0.4% respectively. I also estimate that the number of unemployed foreigners and PRs was only 6,080 and 7,000 respectively, compared to 59,800 citizens. In other words, does it mean that for every unemployed PR or foreigner, there were about 9 unemployed Singaporeans?

HOW MALAYSIAN SPR MILKS THE S’PORE SYSTEM FOR THEIR OWN BENEFITS

Long long time ago, I knew of Malaysian colleagues who were working in Singapore holding onto their Malaysian citizenship while accepting Singapore PR in order to buy resale HDB flats; put their children through Singapore school system (to avoid compulsory Bahasa requirements & to learn Mandarin) & simply competing against Singaporeans for good jobs unlike in Malaysia where the NEP policy restricts them. Of course, they will be internally grateful to the PAP for their fortunate blessings.

S’PORE MEN WHO MARRY MALAYSIAN GIRLS ARE STUPID!

Malaysian girls only want to get SG citizenship. Stop falling for their scams. The first time you went back to her home in Msia? One of her brothers/cousins could actually turn out to be her real BF in disguise. This is to give you a false sense of security, thinking that the close guy she is with is just her relative, not her real bf.
