WP Politician Questions Why AGC Does Not Need To Prove In Court A Statement Is False When POFMA Is Issued

This was AGC's response to a High Court judge's ruling that the Government must prove the falsity of a statement when its correction orders are challenged in Court. AGC insisted that the onus is on the party making the assertion to prove that the statements are true.

Opposition politician and lawyer Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss has her suspicions about the Demolition Clause in LKY's Last Will. She thinks it is equally sneaky that the clause was deleted in the 5th and 6th wills, and it was "fortunately" re-inserted into his Last Will.

"Suggestions of sneakiness is mere personal opinion. It is certainly not unusual at all for anyone to make several wills, each time changing his mind according to his feelings and according to who's persuasions as he decided to follow. Regardless of whether one followed the 'right' counsel, if he signed the Will voluntarily in compliance with all the formal requirements, the Will is valid and legally binding. Ultimately, the last Will supercedes all earlier ones."
