POLICE COMMISSIONER NG KENA BANISH TO PUB FOR MAKING SPF MALU DURING LITTLE INDIA COI?

Looking at the graphs above, it appears that the government is certainly answerable for not planning ahead Singapore’s infrastructure support while increasing the population. It is not just police officers but other infrastructure as well like transport, housing, hospital beds etc, which are sorely lacking in view of the explosive population growth especially after 2006. It is not known if Mr Ng’s frank testimony at the Little India Riot COI earlier this year has precipitated his reassignment to “jaga” water.

WHAT TO DO IF POLICE CALLS YOU UP TO LIM KOPI

In view of the police interview which Han Hui Hui was subjected to last night, here are some quick notes just in case if you are being being hauled up to the police station. Every activist is prone to being summoned to the police station, usually to answer questions relating to the commission of an alleged offence. It is pretty routine and there is nothing to fear. Sometimes the police goes on a fishing trip hoping to catch someone through the statements collected from various people. Sometimes it is pure harassment.

SINGAPORE IS BECOMING LAWLESS

While waiting in line at the post office, two notices caught my attention. One was a police alert while the other warned against being duped by lottery scammers and kidnap ruses. At shopping malls these days, a life size cardboard cop serves as a substitute for the real thing. Foreigners have seized the opportunity to blatantly break the law: busking, fly in and fly out criminal elements, murders, vice, strikes, thuggish conduct and even rioting in Little India.

MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER GOT MOLESTED BY A FOREIGNER IN THE BUS

Last Sunday, 10 January 2014, my 14 year old daughter was molested in the bus at the upper deck. It is such a traumatised experience for a young one to go through. When I received her frantic WhatsApp message telling me that she was molested, I quickly gave her a call back. She was crying and I couldn't hear that trembling voice of hers as she was trying to explain what had happened. That's why she had to message me first as she had difficulty talking properly. But because I couldn't hear and understand her properly, she pass her phone to a female police officer.

SYLVIA LIM: ALLOW PEACEFUL PROTESTS FOR POLICE SOC TO PRACTISE CROWD CONTROL

MP for Aljunied GRC Sylvia Lim said no amount of training could be a substitute for actual practice in policing such incidents. "In this light, would (DPM) consider for example, that the police should allow more peaceful protests in Singapore, in certain designated roads, so that the police can on a regular basis test their policing capabilities in terms of policing cause-based crowds?" she asked.
