I am very shocked that many Pinoys who have become new citizens are getting involved in our local politics. Look at this example, he got his citizenship in 2007 and immediately joined the PAP and proudly voted for them to screw Singaporeans over by allowing them to continue flooding our country with even more pinoys! How can this even be allowed? Shouldn't there be some minimum requirements e.g. serving NS to prove their loyalty to Singapore before they can have a say in our local politics?

Then on his first day, the Pinoy colleagues asked my cousin out for lunch. They sat down and started bombarding him with questions like "Why did you study IT?", "Why you want to work in IT sector?".

36 year-old Stanley Jang, a Singaporean living in Paranaque City for over 10 years with his Filipino wife and 2 year-old child, was brutally murdered by 2 Pinoy gunman on Wednesday. In a recent survey conducted by the Philippines' Social Weather Stations (SWS), 8 in 10 Filipinos are afraid of a possible armed conflict between the Philippines and China over the disputed Scarborough Shoal islands in the South Chin Sea. 84% of respondents said they were worried about armed conflict with China, and 49% said they "worried a great deal", said the SWS. The survey was conducted from March 20 to 23, using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 respondents throughout the Philippines.

The problem of Pinoy Pride, better known as Failipino Pride, usually results in the problem of ultra-nationalism. Being Pinoy is not bad and just because one is a Pinoy does not automatically mean that a person becomes a Failipino or Filifag. A Pinoy can be a decent Filipino or an stupid Failipino, depending on his or her choices.
