EX-PAP MP: GOVT MUST COME CLEAN ON WHO IS "MALAY" AND OUR FIRST ELECTED PRESIDENT

In less than 2 months, Singaporeans will get a new elected President. Unlike the past Presidential Elections (PE), the run up to this year’s PE has not been a smooth sailing one. Parliament passed a new ruling allowing for a Reserved Election. While many have questioned the wisdom of a reserved PE, Parliament has passed the law and this is our current system of how we will select our future Presidents.

Ah, Singapore, where the Prime Minister can talk about things coming into force *when*, not if, amendments are made to legislation next January, because our Parliament is such that when the Government wants to do something, sure can one.

WHY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ALLOWS STUDENT TO WEAR HIJAB BUT NORMAL MOE SCHOOL CANNOT?

I was on my way to work this morning...and something caught my eye....a student from one of the international school in Singapore was participating her school P.E lesson and guess what she was wearing her Hijab... International School in Singapore allowed their student to wear Hijab which I am happy to see but our normal school in Singapore prohibited it.....Shame on you MOE
