MY DAUGHTER WAS MOLESTED AT PCF SPARKLETOTS CHILDCARE, PRINCIPAL REFUSE TO APOLOGISE

My younger daughter who is attending childcare at PCF Sparkletots preschool @ Taman Jurong Block 161 was molested in schoool yesterday during her afternoon nap time. The boy who molested her was her 6 year old malay classmate. When my daughter was sound asleep, this malay boy sneak up to her and put his hand inside of her school skirt(with a shorts attached) and started carressing her private part. The boy's action shocked my daughter up from her sleep and in a state of shock and daze, she tried to stop the boy from touching her any further but the boy kept on forcing his way through.

2 PAP PCF PRESCHOOL PRINCIPALS CHARGED WITH MISAPPROPRIATING $100,000 OF SCHOOL FUNDS

On Tuesday, two principals from PAP Community Foundation centres were charged in Court for misappropriating cash amounting up to $100,000. Bavani V R Kumaran was charged with 2 counts of CBT (Criminal Breach of Trust) while she was Principal of PCF sparkletots Preschool in Ang Mo Kio. Bavani had used $13,540 for her personal use. Similarly, Anna Koh aka Susie Koh was charged with 4 counts of CBT for misappropriating $79,200 of PCF funds while she was the centre's Principal.

PAP KINDERGARTEN GIVE REBATES AFTER PUBLIC FURORE OVER SCHOOL FEE HIKE

It states that “During this period, all Singaporean and permanent resident children in the centres will enjoy a rebate equivalent to the fee increase amount,” PCF said. This means the new fees will only take effect from July 1 next year. “We are reaching out to all parents to inform them of this rebate,” the PCF said.” Does this not sound familiar? Increase fees and then give a temporary rebate due to the public furore over the fee increase when profits increased by 24.7 per cent over the previous year!

PCF CHILDCARE FEE INCREASE DESPITE 24.7% INCREASE IN PROFITS?

According to the PCF’s 2014 Financial Statement – its surplus for the year increased from $942,861 (Jan 1 to Dec 31 2013) to $1,469.575 (Jan 1 2014 to Mar 31 2015). This is an increase of 24.7 per cent ($1,175,660 divided by $942,861) compared to the previous year. With such a huge increase in the surplus (profits) – is the across the board increase in fees justified?
