But still, why park like this? Cannot take a few more seconds to actually par properly ah? Other than parallel parking, angle parking, or perpendicular parking, can anybody else explain what kind of parking is this? That's three lots taken up!

HDB and URA have quietly raised the peak hour charges for carparks managed by both agencies. In total, so far, six neighbourhoods are affected by this hike which sees parking rates increasing by up to 33%. According to both statutory boards, the rationale of the hike is to increase turnovers of vehicles at these carparks during peak periods.

My friend told me almost all petrol stations in Singapore ran out of new parking coupons! Worse still, the petrol stations were unable to exchange the old coupons into money because they were short of cash (hey, most people pay by nets or credit cards at petrol stations!) ! So, drivers ended up unable to exchange their old coupons for money and at the same time they couldn't buy any New Coupons! It is such a big screw up!

Parking wardens have been issuing warning letters this week since parking charges were increased. New coupons of $0.60 and $1.20 must be used. From Dec 1 to Jan 31, motorists can also exchange their old parking coupons for new ones by topping up the difference in value at 155 locations island wide.
