NEW LIFT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ONLY FOR PAP TOWN COUNCIL WARDS

It has just been announced that as part of efforts to to improve lift safety and reliability, a dashboard management system jointly developed by town councils managed by the People's Action Party (PAP) is expected to be launched later this month. As the first sentence broadly hints at, this system will only be launched in areas that are under the PAP town councils. Why create this guise of working for the people under the management of Town Councils? Can't the government just roll out the lift management system under the HDB umbrella, so that all Singaporeans will benefit? After all, this system are going to be built using taxpayer's money, right? Mist likely, using this project as saying it was jointly developed by PAP town councils will allow them the right to just place the system in PAP Town Council's wards. Is this some sort of punishment for the people who voted the PAP out in the other Town Council?

THE INDEPENDENT ALLEGES TBFC CHAIRMAN BILL NG DONATED $100,000 TO PAP BISHAN-TOA PAYOH BRANCH

Amidst the saga of Tiong Bahru FC Chairman Bill Ng's $500,000 donation to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), local alternative news website The Independent Singapore alleged in a 28 April 2017 article that Mr Bill Ng made a $100,000 donation to the PAP's Community Foundation Bishan-Toa Payoh branch in 2014 at the behest of Mr Zainudin Nordin, then a PAP MP for the Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC.

TIN PEI LING TO WORK FOR TECH INVESTMENT FIRM, NO LONGER FULL TIME MP

MP Tin Pei Ling has been reported as having accepted a job at an investment firm, a Singapore company called Jing King Tech Group, and will start work in May 2017. She will relinquish that very rare of roles, that as a full time MP under the PAP banner. The Singapore firm Tin Pei Ling will be working at is firmly positioned in the innovation and FinTech space. She had been a full time MP for 6 years, ever since she was first elected in 2011. Now that she is relinquishing the full time role, will she give as mush back to the people who voted her in? She has already said that the new job gives her enough flexibility to discharge her MP duties. But how can that be possible? From a full time MP where her attention is solely focused on her ward, she is now a part time MP, where her attention will be divided between her ward, which she was elected for and getting paid handsomely as an MP for, her new job, which she is paid to do actual work. and as a mother to her 2 year old son.

HDB 99 YEAR LEASE TIME BOMB COULD CAUSE PROPERTY MARKET COLLAPSE

At least TWO PAP Ministers (Khaw Boon Wan & Lawrence Wong) have confirmed my point about the HDB 99 Year Lease being ZERO in value when the lease expired. This is an important critical fact that most Singaporeans have ignored for decades and despite of such reality, Singaporeans are still pumping huge amount of money willingly into HDB resale market which in turn, pushes up the new BTO HDB flats!

CHAMPIONING DIVISIVE ISSUES SHOW WHY PAP IS FORK-TONGUED

In 2013, PAP minister Indranee Rajah accused the Worker's Party of "straddling both sides of the fence" when it showed restraint and refused to be drawn into a divisive debate on the hijab issue. Fast forward to 2017: when WP raised the same issue in Parliament, the PAP and Lee Hsien Loong were quick to accuse it of championing divisive issues - conveniently ignoring the fact that its own MPs have asked about Malay representation in the Army as well as championed the tudung issue!
