ALL 3 PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS ARE NOT MALAYS, ARE THEY REALLY FIT TO LEAD?

Khan Osman Sulaiman does not regard any of the Presidential hopefuls as Malays despite this being a reserved Presidency. "Im still wondering where these hopefuls were during the past open presidential elections? Why only when it is reserved for a Malay candidate do they come forward? Maybe they are self-defeating and have low self esteem to contest in an open-election knowing they will not stand a chance. If the above is right, then they are not fit to be a leader."

REFORM PARTY MEMBER: I WILL TAKE DONALD TRUMP OVER DECEITFUL LKY

I dont like Trump. But voters know what they are getting. No deception. No hypocrisy. Against LKY who wooed my community by subterfuge, wears the 'songkok' and visited the mosques and championing meritocracy but acted against it. Cozened a whole generation into believing equality for everyone. So in this aspect, Trump anytime. Better the devil we know than the devil we dont.

GOVT INFLATING CONSULTATION FEES TO MAKE MEDICAL SUBSIDIES LOOK GOOD?

The consultation fee for a neighbourhood private doctor is usually between $20-$30. Public polyclinic is supposed to be cheaper than private clinics. How in the world can a public medical service be much expensive? It's either the authorities are inflating the consultation fee and then makes it look like the gov is heavily subsidizing our medical cost or our doctors working at polyclinics are being paid super scale salary that rival the private sectors. I know the latter isn't true.

LEE KUAN YEW IS NOT MY LEADER, HE DESTROYED MANY PEOPLES LIVES

If people care so much about how he 'transformed' singapore or marvel at how he shaped the country from being a kampung to an urbanised city, please spare a thought too for those lives that he destroyed. He could be the 'messiah' if only he had been more compassionate towards his adversaries. He could be the Ghandi of Singapore. Alas, he is not a true leader. A leader must be measured in totality, and that will include principles and morals. Leave one out, and the equation will be flawed.

FORMER NSP CHIEF JUMPS SHIP TO JOIN CHIAM SEE TONG

51-year old lawyer Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss has resigned from National Solidarity Party (NSP) last week and applied to join Singapore People's Party (SPP) which is helmed by veteran politician Mr Chaim See Tong. Mrs Chong-Aruldoss failed in her bid for NSP Presidency in party elections last January and left along with former council members Ravi Philemon, Bryan Long, and party member Osman Sulaiman. She acknowledged that their decision to leave came in the wake of the central executive committee (CEC) election results.
