NEW LIFT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ONLY FOR PAP TOWN COUNCIL WARDS

It has just been announced that as part of efforts to to improve lift safety and reliability, a dashboard management system jointly developed by town councils managed by the People's Action Party (PAP) is expected to be launched later this month. As the first sentence broadly hints at, this system will only be launched in areas that are under the PAP town councils. Why create this guise of working for the people under the management of Town Councils? Can't the government just roll out the lift management system under the HDB umbrella, so that all Singaporeans will benefit? After all, this system are going to be built using taxpayer's money, right? Mist likely, using this project as saying it was jointly developed by PAP town councils will allow them the right to just place the system in PAP Town Council's wards. Is this some sort of punishment for the people who voted the PAP out in the other Town Council?

TERREX: SG SHD UNITE & SCRUTINIZE POLICIES THAT CAN’T BE ADDRESSED BY COOKIE-CUTTER STRATEGIES

This proposition fundamentally fails to appreciate the importance behind constructive criticism. Without prejudice to the government's handling of the PRC-situation, dictating a segment of society to silence themselves indicates a contempt for the opinion of the critical sector which might have one or more valid points. Some exceptions may exist such as in times of dire crisis, for instance - war. That is not the current situation viz Singapore-China relations.

WHAT HAPPENED TO PAP’S VICTOR LYE?

Since the beginning of Singapore, PAP leaders have been instilling unnecessary fear in Singaporeans towards the opposition. LKY claims that Singapore women will work as maids overseas when the opposition takes over while GCT has gone as far as to label the opposition as opportunistic “nomads” It has been slightly more than a year since the 2015GE and I would like to challenge this notion as pure bullshit.

DOUBLE STANDARDS: HOW THE PAP GOVT RESPONDS TO CRISIS IN S’PORE

Singapore netizen Albert Tay made a fair observation on how PAP governments reacted to crisis and events. When it comes to serious incidents that could damage their reputation, they will tell Singaporeans to remain calm and to not get worked up. However, when WP makes a small mistake, PAP will raise the cudgels and call for blood. Albert Tay, thanks you for speaking the truth, and for doing your duty to wake up our fellow Singaporeans.
