MODERATE VOICES BEING SNUFFED OUT OF S’PORE ONLINE POLITICAL DEBATE

Both hardcore opposition and PAP supporters with their large IBs online are a danger to political development in Singapore because they drown out moderate voices and real aspirations of Singaporeans. As we move towards Polling Day, we should remind ourselves of PAP's track record and the positive changes they have brought, but at the same time, we should also give the opposition a chance to see if they too can make positive changes to our society.

Once again the GE is upon us again, at the last election the worker's party (WP) had managed to wrestle Aljunied GRC from the PAP, and a further Punggol East SMC in a by election giving a thumping defeat to the the PAP's candidate in Punggol East. PROF DANIEL GOH LODGES POLICE REPORT AGAINST POISON PEN LETTER ALLEGING AFFAIR

Hello everyone, again, I just lodged a police report on the poison pen letter at Serangoon NPC, a short walk down from where I live. It felt so unreal walking down the familiar sidewalk, perhaps it was the slight haze from the burning of paper money. I said during my speech at the Punggol East By-election rally that life is too short and special to be kiasu, kiasi and kiagui.

LOCAL MUSICIAN: S’PORE CANNOT RISK A FREAK ELECTION RESULT

I don't think we can gamble with Singapore's future. I think we have to vote with our heads and not with our emotions that are being stirred up by the rabble rousers. Elections are a serious business. There is no problem with the status quo as far as I'm concerned. I am also fine with a few more opposition seats in Parliament if the opposition took their usual "by-election" strategy.

OPPOSITION VOTERS STOP BEING PASSIVE & VOLUNTEER NOW TO ENSURE CHANGE

After the election results, opposition supporters were quick to blame the 60.1% for giving the PAP such a large majority in parliament and the mandate for unpopular and unwanted policies like the Population White Paper. Rather than blame the 60.1% for the results, many of the 39.9% of opposition voters should also blame themselves for doing nothing except voting against the PAP. Yes, you guys voted against the PAP. But that is not enough if you want real democratic progress.

A MESSAGE TO OUR CIVIL SERVANTS & ELDERLY FOR GE2015

My fellow voters who work for the civil service, you might feel obligated to vote for the PAP because of their policy to pay you well but please remember that your salary comes from Singaporeans’ tax monies and NOT from the PAP’s bank accounts. Hence, even if the opposition wins and replaces the PAP, you should NOT fear for your paycheque or your job.

CONCERNED AMK VOTER: RUMOURS OF REFORM PARTY FACING SERIOUS MANPOWER SHORTAGE

There is a rumour circulating on hardwarezone forum that the Reform Party has a serious 'manpower crunch' and may be unable to field a team in Ang Mo Kio GRC and West Coast GRC, despite claiming at the opposition talks that they will contest in these two GRCs. Is there any truth to this rumour? I would like Reform Party to clarify this matter as soon as possible, as this concerns giving the voters of these two GRCs a choice in wanting to keep the current government.
