A contributor sent in a video showing a flooded carpark at Joo Seng today. According to our contributor, the Joo Seng area has allegedly faced ponding for years. It is puzzling why this area still gets ponding despite these feedback. Perhaps the Member of Parliament (MP) Professor Fatimah Lateef can shed light on this issue when she goes on her next walkabout. Surely her residents deserve an explanation.

“ONCE IN 50 YEARS” FLOOD HITS SG… FOR 5TH TIME IN 5 MONTHS

Flash floods struck parts of Singapore again today after heavy rain caused canals and drainage systems to overflow. The Public Utilities Board (PUB) and the National Environment Agency (NEA) issued warnings on social media accounts on Twitter to inform Singaporeans about expected heavy rainfall over the southern and western parts of Singapore from 1.35PM to 2.25PM today.
