DRIVERLESS CAR HITS LORRY – LIKELY STILL BEING TESTED

A driverless car which appears to be under going testing, hit a lorry during it's trial. The side of the lorry was dented. The right bumper of the driverless car from NuTonomy was damaged. While it remains unknown who is at fault, the damages suggest that the driverless car had cut into the lane that the lorry was in.

SINGAPORE SET TO BE WORLD’S FIRST TO TEST DRIVERLESS TAXI CABS

NuTonomy, a driverless car startup that branched out of Massachusetts Institute of Technology three years ago, is looking to operate a fully autonomous taxi service in Singapore. The company passed its first driving test in Singapore last month. The firm had raised $3.6 million in seed funding in January. Just by using a mobile phone, you can call a self-driving car for pick up, make your destination known, sit back and let the car will take you to your destination.
