Covid19: Ho Ching Tells Sinkies To Stop Whining And Be Swabber If They Think They Are Underpaid

Once again, the missus of the Prime Minister of our country has lashed out at Singaporeans who have voiced their grievances at how much swabbers are being paid vs how much our front line professionals, service staff and cleaning crew are paid. "For anyone who think their pay is unfairly lower than the swabbers, stop whining and go volunteer to be trained to do the swabbing."

MT ELIZABETH NURSES GAVE SLEEPING PILLS 20X OVER DOSAGE TO PATIENT IN 24HRS

My brother in law is not getting the treatment he needs at Mount Elizabeth Novena. The nurses have nearly administered him 4x his recommended prescription FIVE TIMES in the span of 24 hours because they had not been keeping track of when they were giving him his medication. It could kill him.

FOREIGN NURSE CAUGHT SURFING INTERNET DURING WORKING HOURS

This recent photo is taken at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic B1A, Medical Centre. While every doctors and staff nurses are busy with their work and diligently serving the patients, this Pinoy cashier is happily shaking her legs and surfing the internet (personal and non-job-related – surfing cars advertisement) while at work.

OVERWORKED NURSES ARE A DANGER TO THEIR PATIENTS!

When a nurse works in the ICU and High Dependency Unit (HDU) of a tertiary hospital and started a shift at 7 am (left house at 5.45 am and woke up at 5 am) was asked at the last minute just before knocking off shift work to do a double shift (pm shift) from 3.15 pm to 9.30 pm, do you think this nurse will have the ability to focus at work when he/she is physically exhausted after such a long day? The patients at the ICU and HDU are critically ill and often goes into 'Code Blue' status that need immediate attention or resuscitation.

NEW NURSING HOME DISCRIMINATES AGAINST LOCAL INDIANS BY HIRING NORTH INDIAN NURSES ONLY

I saw this online ad about a placement for North Eastern and North Indian nurses for a new nursing home here. In the first place, this is blatant discrimination against Singaporeans. Aren't employers supposed to go through the government jobs portal to hire Singaporeans first? Singapore has not enough qualified nurses for you that you have to import from India? It's bad enough that Singaporean nurses are underpaid and unappreciated, now these unethical foreign hiring companies want to import more foreign nurses to push down our wages?

NEW TREATY WILL ALLOW INDIA ACCOUNTANTS & NURSES TO WORK HERE

Soon Indian chartered accountants and nurses will get easy access to work in Singapore as the two countries are finalising mutual recognition agreements. Mutual recognition agreements (MRAs) pave the way for recognition of professional body of one country by the other. Regulatory bodies of various professional services like engineering, accountancy and architecture are encouraged to enter into these pacts.
