Ex-CNB chief Ng Boon Gay to join security firm Certis Cisco

Former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) director Ng Boon Gay will join security company Certis Cisco as a consultant next month, on a short-term contract "to help with various aspects of our security business", said a spokesman for the firm. Certis Cisco operates the largest auxiliary police force here with more than 3,000 trained staff. Former CNB chief Ng Boon Gay retired from public service

Former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) chief Ng Boon Gay, who was acquitted of corruption last year, has been retired from public service effective Wednesday. The decision by the Public Service Commission follows the conclusion of internal civil service disciplinary proceedings and was made "in the public interest", said a Home Affairs Ministry spokesman on Wednesday following queries from The Straits Times.
