The Jurong West internet outage that affected customers in the area since Tuesday afternoon, is still not solved yet. In a most recent update, fibre network operator NetLink Trust discovered two new damaged cables, and services are expected to resume only this afternoon, instead of by 4 am today which had been announced earlier. Apparently, the fault was found to have been confirmed at a Boon Lay Avenue worksite, caused by a third party contractor doing piling works. Customers affected are from all three telcos, Singtel, M1 and StarHub, as well as MyRepublic.

JURONG WEST EXPERIENCES FIBRE OUTAGE, COMPANY LOOKING INTO THE MATTER
Some people in the Jurong West area may experience difficulties accessing fibre and fixed voice services. Fibre network operator NetLink Trust has confirmed there is a cable cut and said they are looking into the matter with the Infocomm Media Development Authority and the telco operators.
