[ANNOUNCEMENT] ONLY NDP TICKET HOLDERS CAN ENTER AREAS NEAR SPORTS HUB

It has come to our attention that some of you might have come across events that encourage you and your fellow gamers to hunt Pokemon around the vicinity of the Sports Hub at Kallang. Do note that neither NDPeeps nor the NDP 16 EXCO have endorsed any events to promote Pokemon-hunting in the vicinity of the Sports Hub on 9 Aug 2016. Given that we will be celebrating National Day on 9 Aug 2016 at the National Stadium, large crowds will be expected. To ensure the highest standards of safety and security for all ticketed spectators, strict access controls within the vicinity of the Sports Hub will be in place. Only ticket holders will be able to enter areas near the Sports Hub.

The shopkeeper (in his late 50s) at a paper stand near my place was talking to me this morning and the topic switched to the NDP. I asked him if his shop would be closed tomorrow and he quickly said, "Why should we close tomorrow? I'd rather open for business than watch the stupid parade!"
