SINGAPORE SEPAK TAKRAW PLAYER QUITS SPORT OVER LOSS OF YOUNGER BROTHER

25 year-old national sepak takraw player Azreen Sairudin still remembers the fateful accident that claimed his younger brother's life, and his haunting last words. Both brothers were involved in a collision with a car along Seletar Expressway on 7th June. His younger brother, 21 year-old Aqil Sairudin, was riding pillion on Azreen's motorcycle.

National netballer Kimberly Lim used to struggle with her studies as she had to work part-time supplement her single-parent family's income. The stress had become so bad at one point that she contemplated giving up netball. But her passion for the game led her to stay on, and her team went on to win the SEA Games netball gold medal this year.
