LOCAL SUSHI CHAIN NAMED THEIR SPECIAL DISH MAKI KITA, HAD TO APOLOGISE
They tried a pun on their name and Singapore's national anthem, by naming the food "Maki Kita". This, of course, was a play on the first two words on our national anthem, "Mari Kita", but the sushi chain apparently did not know that Maki also means curse in Malay, Singapore's national language.
