I would like to report about some shops at Peninsular Plaza that made big bucks during the Sea Games by selling tickets at black market. They clearly violated the Singapore Law. Their commercial exploitation of fellow nationals at a Sporting event is a sore eye to all of us Burmese people. This was after Myanmer defeated Singapore 2 - 1 in last night's SEA Games qualifying match at the Jalan Besar Stadium. After the Singapore Lions were beaten by the Myanmar team yesterday 2-1, Myanmar fans showed their true colors by taking to the Football Association of Singapore Facebook page to boast about their team's victory. Shockingly, many fans also posted racist and inappropriate comments about Singaporean players, which angered many Singaporeans netizens. In heated exchanges between Singapore and Myanmar fans, netizens from Myanmar were seen insulting the skin color, religion and playing style of the Singapore Lions. Singaporean teens attending the Laneway Music Festival at Meadow at Gardens by the Bay were shamed on Wednesday by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. MYANMAR NATIONAL PAID $220 FOR SEX WITH 16-YEAR-OLD IN JURONG FLAT

A Myanmar national became the seventh man to be jailed for having commercial sex with a 16-year-old girl, reports The Straits Times. Lu Maw, 34, who is a permanent resident, was sentenced to 12 weeks' jail on Monday. He was an engineer at the time he paid $220 for the sexual services of the minor at a flat in Jurong East Street 24 on March 1 last year.
