How did it turn to this? How did our chillax little Singapore turn into this circus where people start thinking only about themselves, their needs and ignore the repercussions on others, the feelings of others? When I say this, I am referring to the Catholics, Christians, the Muslims and the Homosexuals. All of you. All of you are guilty of intolerance and being full of yourselves. It's as though the whole world revolves only around your needs and wants. How about the others? How about Singaporeans who just wish to lead their lives in relative peace and quiet?

There's a 'wear white' campaign which is supposed to be a protest against Pink Dot on 28 June. It is a call for Muslims to wear white for the evening prayers on the first day of Ramadan. (If some clueless people turn up wearing pink then how? But that's the downside of having a diffuse campaign which hitches a ride on something people do in Ramadan anyway--not everyone will get the memo). NEW MOSQUES IN WOODLANDS AND JURONG WEST BY 2016

MUSLIMS in Jurong West and Woodlands can look forward to two new mosques by 2016, which will be built to accommodate the growing numbers of worshippers in these areas. Each mosque will take up about 2,500 sq m of space and cost about $15 million, said the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) at a media conference yesterday. Right now, Muslim worshippers in Jurong West can attend mosques in Jurong East and Taman Jurong.
