COURT STAYS EXECUTION FOR MURDERER AMIDST INTERNATIONAL PRESSURE

With 24 hours left before he was to be hanged for his crimes, Malaysian murderer Kho Jabing received a stay of execution on his death sentence. Jabing's lawyers had filed a criminal motion yesterday at the Singapore Court of Appeals to request a remittance of his case. The court granted the stay of execution but has not mentioned when the case will be mentioned again.

BURMESE KILLERS SENT TO S’PORE TO MURDER LOVE RIVAL IN COLD BLOOD

The three man arrested for attempted murder have been identified as Myanmar nationals Yae Wynnt Oaung, 32, Phyo Min Naing, 31, as well as Singapore permanent resident Zaw Min Hlaing, 37. They were charged in a district court with the plotting to murder another Singapore permanent resident, Aye Maung Maung Thet, 28. MAID JAILED 12 YEARS FOR KILLING 16 YEAR-OLD SINGAPOREAN GIRL

30 year-old Tuti Aeliyah was jailed for 12 years today after pleading guilty to one charge of culpable homicide for killing 16 year-old Shameera Basha Noor Basha, a secondary 4 student at Tanjong Katong Girls' School, on 14th November 2013. Tuti was originally charged with murder but managed to escape the gallows after psychiatrists diagnosed her with severe depression. Tuti started working for her employer's family in April 2012. A few months before the murder, she lost weight, did not want to call home and cried often. She even told a fellow maid that she wished to commit suicide.
