A 39 year-old victim of a knife attack has died of his injuries after he was stabbed by a 60 year-old Chinese man this afternoon at Boon Tat Street. The 39 year-old was found lying face down outside a restaurant along the street. According to eye witnesses, he had tried to run from his assailant and told passersby to call the police.

The maid who allegedly murdered an elderly couple in their Bedok HDB flat has been arrested by Indonesian police in the province of Jambi according to local news Tribrata news. Khasanah, aged 41 admitted to killing the elderly couple Mr Chia Ngim Fong (79) and Mdm Chin Sek Fah (78) and was tracked down with help from a tip off. She was staying at a hotel and was found with multiple valuables in her possession, money, mobile phones and jewellery.

The maid suspected in the double murder case in Bedok Reservoir, in which two elderly couples were found dead in separate areas of their house, is believed to have fled Singapore for an Indonesian Island. The couple were found and pronounced dead on Wednesday afternoon. Media reports stated that the maid is a suspect in the murder case, and she had been living with the couple for about a month. She was believed to have fled via the Harbourfront Centre on Wednesday, buying a ticket for the first available boats out. Based on information on the Singapore Cruise website, ferries were available to two Indonesian destinations: Batam or Tanjung Balai on Great Karimun Island.

A 46 year old woman and a 49 year old man were found dead at Tampines Central yesterday. The woman was found with stab wounds on her bed while the man was discovered below the HDB block. The two were believed to have relationship problems even though the man was already married with a child. The woman herself was also divorced. Neighbours told the police they could always hear the couple fight and shout at each other. Police suspect that the man killed her before falling 10 floors to his death, but are still trying to find the murder weapon. The case is under investigations.
