The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has come out saying that Imam Nalla Mohamed Abdul Jameel's remarks against Christians and Jews have no place in today's Singapore where all communities live in peace and harmony. MUIS said that Imam Nalla's comments caused confusion and suspicion among non-Muslims and had damaged the image of Islam and Muslims in Singapore. NTUC PLACED CHICKEN WITH ONLY PART OF HALAL WORD ON PRICE TAG, NO MUIS HALAL LOGO

I went to the Halal section for chicken, intending to buy some chicken drumsticks. Imagine my surprise when on one of the chicken sold, there was no Halal logo sticker from MUIS. Instead, there is just a printed halal on the price tag. Even then, the words did not completely spell halal. Instead, it was (hal. So is this chicken meat halal or not? If not, understand it might be a mistake from your staff placing it there. But why then is there part of the word Halal on the price tag? There's a huge difference between printing the word halal and having the logo which is accredited by MUIS.
