MLM COMPANY CLAIMS S'POREANS CAN EARN $4,000 A MONTH WITH JUST 10 HRS WORK FROM HOME

So I'm trying to sleep but can't because I am seriously disturbed. I went to an Amway meeting earlier today, after someone approached me with a "business opportunity". I immediately suspected that something was off, so I came into the meeting skeptical and even secretly took some videos. They drew a pyramid scheme model during the presentation and tried to argue that it isn't; they talked about income earners as Employees/Self-employed/Business owners/Investora and tried to argue that everyone in Amway is a business owner.

POLY STUDENT SCAMMED BY MLM PROMOTER @ EUNOS BUS STOP

I would like to share a bad experience I had with this company. I was approach by this young guy in formal attire at the bus stop near Eunos. He asked if I wanted to participate in a survey on anti aging and I will walk away with $10 cash and a free facial mask after the survey.

My friend got this leaflet stuck at his house door, and decided to find out what it was about. He thought that the job was for "Life Care Services", since it was allegedly the company stated on the leaflet. But it turns out to be a marketing ploy by one of a MLM company's distributor to recruit more distributors to join her team. Although this MLM company is legitimate in Singapore, the way this distributor recruits is really untruthful and misleading.

MY CREEPY MLM EXPERIENCE

My story starts when someone I used to know in NS casually ask me to go out with some friends to an event in town. He introduces me to his circle of friends, some of which are apparently "so rich they want to help other ppl". I spoke to some of them and feel they have good intentions, but I may have been stupid to do so.
