UKRAINE REVEALS PHOTO OF BUK-M1 MISSILE-SYSTEM CROSSING INTO RUSSIA

The Ukraine Security Service (SBU) has uncovered evidence that one of the Russian “BUK-M1” surface-to-air missile systems fired the missile from a location near the town of Snizhne in the Donetsk region. Head of Ukraine’s SBU Counterintelligence Department Vitaliy Nayda revealed photo evidence of two “BUK-M1” missile systems crossing the border from Ukraine into Russia at 2am (Ukrainian time) on Friday (July 18), after the plane was shot down.

RSS Intrepid Carried Out Success Live-Firing of Aster Surface-to-Air Missile During RIMPAC

Singapore Navy's (RSN) Formidable-class frigate RSS Intrepid, successfully carried out a live-firing of an Aster Surface-to-Air Missile on 12 July as part of the multilateral Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) maritime exercise. Hosted by the United States Navy, the exercise comprises a shore planning phase and a 22-day sea phase off the coast of Hawaii. This is the fourth time the RSN is participating in this exercise and the second time it is commanding a multinational task unit during the exercise.
