Some singaporeans really crack me up: sungei road, no comments, Multimillion dollar ministers, no comments, Press freedom, no comments, Minimum wage, no comments, But Miss singapore pageant contestants "Oi our opinion ok, this is freedom of speech, they are there for me to judge them" Im sorry guys but who the fuck are you to judge them? You a professional is it? They are there to be judged by the judges, you have your opinions yes it is ok to have them.

Singapore men woke up to shock and horror after publicity images of the 2017 Miss Singapore were circulated online. As compared to past editions which featured the likes of the classy Eunice Oslen and the Girl-Next-Door Jamie Teo, the best of Singaporean beauty was abysmal. Hoping to get a different perspective from a younger man, Xiao Tee Koh aged 32 painted a hopeless picture. Mr. Xiao shared: "Even my friends at work dress better and look better than these monkeys. I think I will turn gay if the standards don't improve. Even lesbians at Pink Dot look so much better than these jokes.

Speaking to MyPaper at Ye Shanghai Teochew Muay stall in Bukit Merah View where he works, Mr Koh said that what she did was 'wuliao'. 'Wuliao' means meaningless, or lame, in Mandarin. "There was no need for her to take a photograph of me while I was sleeping," he said. According to MyPaper, Mr Koh has worked at the porridge stall for the past 20 years, taking the MRT from his home in Woodlands -- an hour-long commute. He works from 5pm to 3.30am daily, taking orders and dishing out food.

He's very much part of our Bukit Merah family, and just like whenever a family member feels down, it helps when others rally round to give a morale booster. And if anyone merits a boost it is this quiet, hardworking, unassuming man. He may not be sibei trendy, but he is definitely "sibei ho".
