PAP MPS SILENCE DURING 38 OXLEY ROAD PARLIAMENT DEBATE DEAFENING

Even as the dust hasn't quite settled for the 38 Oxley Rd issue and odours still persist after its premature closure with an uneasy 'truce', 1 pertinent question keeps glaring at the eyes of the electorate that is, how effective were the PAP MPs in taking their leaders to task and holding them accountable to residents?

ARE S'POREANS TRULY SAFE UNDER PAP'S ONE PARTY RULE?

I applaud the WP's present willingness to actively engage the government on tough issues as well as comments by Fatimah Lateef to WP's Faisal on the lack of suggestions he has proposed in our lopsided parliament. I think Fatimah Lateef (as a 3 term MP) is still blurred on the line of the roles the government and Opposition MPs play and perhaps its better for voters to retire her at the next poll so she can concentrate on serving her patients at SGH in addition to fixing serious lapses in MOH.

RESPECT FOR THE NEW MP WHO WORKED HARD TO GET INTO PARLIAMENT

He's finally in parliament after a long 4 year period of waiting and hoping... Despite losing twice in an SMC and failing to reach the 40% mark twice, this determined chap is finally in parliament. This more challenging path to parliament is called the GRC.

[COMPLAIN] MSM IS GLORIFYING PAP MP TIN PEI LING

This gives the impression that Tin Pei Ling, and by extension her PAP colleagues, is working very hard. Is MSM trying to imply that opposition politicians are not working hard? Has the MSM ever interviewed an opposition politician to profile them this way? Why is there a need to portray PAP so favorably? Last July, WP MP Lee Li Lian gave birth to her child and she working all the way till she gave birth. Even the week before she gave birth, she was fulfilling her duties as a MP and attending to constituency matters. I don't see the MSM running after her for an interview.
