Covid 19: AMK Town Council & NEA Continue to Turn a Blind Eye Against Bird Feeders Who Litter Estate

With the virus going around, and circuit breaker, people at Hougang Ave 8 are still going around to do funny things like feed birds. It is an offence to feed birds. They will dirty the environment with droppings, and leftover food from pigeon feeding may attract other pests like rats, which carry diseases and pose a risk to our health.

Former MP Irene Ng has come up with a brilliant idea to resolve the FamiLEE dispute by asking for 38 Oxley Rd to be demolished NOW. "I believe that as long as the core issue remains – what to do with the house – and as long as the house stands, the saga will not end. It will be a running sore. The Lee family will continue to suffer, and we will not be spared... To end the saga now by demolishing the house, all parties involved have to pay a price... Demolish the house, end the saga now, and let's all move on."

GOH CHOK TONG: PNG ENG HUAT IS SPREADING RUMOURS BY READING LEE SIBLINGS' FB POSTS

ESM Goh Chok Tong lashed out at Workers' Party's Png Eng Huat in Parliament today for merely reading out quotes from Lee Hsien Yang and Lee Wei Ling's Facebook instead of stating his position on the issue. "Anyone can simply read. That is akin to spreading rumour. As an honourable Member of Parliament, he should state his position on what he has read. That is what we are elected as MPs for - to have a clear view on issues".

He invited Low Thia Kiang and other opposition MPs to state their stance clearly regarding PM Lee and the Government's integrity. Nevertheless, he also agreed with them that allegations against the PM are baseless, calculated, and should be stopped.

IT'S MURALI VS CHEE SOON JUAN AFTER PAP ANNOUNCES BUKIT BATOK CANDIDATE

The People's Action Party (PAP) announced that lawyer K Muralidharan Pillai will be its candidate for the Bukit Batok by-election today. The 48-year-old Mr Murali was part of the PAP "suicide squad" challenging the Workers' Party (WP) team for Aljunied GRC in the recent General Elections held last year. The WP emerged victorious with 50.95% of the vote.

THE POLITICIZATION OF WP LEE LI LIAN'S NCMP DECISION

Despite calls by the PAP to keep debate free from partisan politics, it appears that for the PAP, once again, the rules they impose on others do not apply to themselves. In a statement to the media, the leader of the House, the minister Grace Fu, said the following concerning Lee Li Lian's refusal to take up the NCMP seat.
