This incident happened last week during SG50's long holiday. Firstly, the delivery was 8 minutes late. If there's one thing I hate, it's being late. It could cost a life in emergency situations. I opened up the box and took out the main course. To my horror and heartbreak, my double quarter pounder was missing a patty. My life felt incomplete. Paying for the right price and receiving something less didn't bother me. I was hungry and I needed it. This really disappointed me.

MANY CLEANERS WILL BECOME JOBLESS IF S’POREANS START TO CLEAN UP THEIR OWN MESS

I read your article about the rich tai tai who scolded her children for not clearing their own mess after dining at McDonalds. The disadvantage of clearing up after ourselves is we may be depriving a much needed job for the aunties and uncle hoping to gain employment after retirement. If we clear and tidy up the tables chairs and return it ourselves, there would be no need to hire cleaners.

OLD LADY MOCKED BY TOA PAYOH MCDONALDS STAFF FOR HAVING NO MONEY TO PAY FOR MEAL

I was approached by an old lady with a hunched back, outside the Macdonalds restaurant at Toa Payoh Hub earlier this evening. She timidly asked if I could buy her some chicken nuggets and a hot milo drink. So I brought her into the restaurant to place an order for her food. I was appalled when the counter staff started shouting at and mocking the old lady for not having money to pay for her own meal.

Miss Stacey Lim witnessed a thoughtful act by a staff working in McDonalds Compass Point outlet this morning. She shared that a young girl had spilled her drink and stepped onto the spillage. The girl's father notified the staff about the spillage and turned towards the exit.
