His body was retrieved from the Singapore River, and paramedics pronounced him dead. Police are still investigating the death. The man reportedly went missing at 3D River Valley Road. It is understood the man was a Singaporean, and he had fallen off into the waters near Read Bridge.

MAN JUMPED OUT OF MOVING TAXI, DIES OF HIS INJURIES

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, a 22 year old man was reportedly killed when he jumped out of a moving taxi. The incident happened along Bedok Reservoir Road, and it was reported that he was in the taxi with another female passenger. Based on news reports, the young man allegedly jumped out of the cab after getting into a dispute with the woman. Police were alerted to the incident at about 4:04am on Saturday. "A 22-year-old man was taken unconscious to Changi General Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead," said the police spokesman. SCDF were also alerted to the accident at 4:10pm at the junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok Reservoir Road, and took one man to CGH.

PREGNANT WOMAN STABBED EX-BOYFRIEND AFTER HE BROKE UP WITH HER

Police reported the incident at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 on Saturday. The ex-boyfriend was apparently on his way to a unit on the third storey of Block 203 when he saw the woman there. The man and the woman had broken up a few days before, and he was not expecting her to turn up at the Ang Mo Kio block. They had both gotten into the lift, where residents heard the couple having a heated argument. This was when the woman stabbed her ex-boyfriend with a fruit knife. The man was hurt on his left arm and back, and the woman managed to escape once the lift door opened. The victim managed to drive himself to a hospital with his friend. It was reported that the woman was three months pregnant. Police investigations are ongoing.

POLICE ARRESTS MAN FOR LEAVING BAG UNATTENDED AT MRT STATION

Yet another case of a stupid man leaving his bag unattended in a public place. This time, it happened on Wednesday at Admiralty MRT Station, where the 34 year old man left his luggage bag unattended, while he went to make a purchase at a convenience store. According to police reports, they were alerted to the case at 8:45am, where they found the unattended luggage bag at the MRT bicycle bay. The luggage bag contained personal items like clothing, medication and toiletries. The police officers at the scene traced the owner of the luggage bag and arrested him at the station. Police are still investigating the case.

MAN FOUND DROWNED IN WATERS OFF KEPPEL TERMINAL

A 29 year old man has been reported to have been found motionless in the waters off Keppel Terminal on Tuesday morning. Police said that they alerted to the case of unnatural death at 7:58am today. The man was pronounced dead by the paramedics at the scene. No further details on the man, or what he was doing at Keppel Terminal, was released by the police. Police investigations into the unnatural death are still ongoing.

MAN IN YISHUN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSING WEAPON & OTHER DRUG OFFENCES

A 28 year old man was arrested at Yishun Blk 129 for possessing an offensive weapon and having other drug related offences. The police first received a call for help at Yishun St 11 on the night of 21 May. They then arrested the suspect and sent another 30 year old male subject to Khoo Teck Puat hospital. The commotion attracted many onlookers in the area as the man was handcuffed and escorted by 2 policemen. The police are still investigating.

POLICE FAILED TO TAKE PHOTOS OF ALLEGED CRIME SCENE, QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ASKED WHY

The High Court judge cleared the man, and also rapped the the police for their failure to actually capture the interior of the cabin of a prime mover, where the alleged rape took place. The prime mover had since been scrapped, thus important evidence was forever loss in the case. Whether the rape actually took place or not, the judge had already cleared the man, decision have been made. This is no longer the issue. What is more concerning is that this represents a clear lack of professional work on the part of the police. How can you neglect to photograph the very crime scene you are investigating? Whoever was doing the investigations should be taken to task. Even the judge had said that this was unacceptable.
