MAID HAD LUCKY ESCAPE AS ESCALATOR BECAME A TRAP DOOR

I was travelling with my maid down the escalator at a mall in Orchard. My maid was a few steps behind me and when I got off, the escalator made a terrible sound. I screamed at my maid to jump off and luckily she did if not her leg would have been injured or crushed. Despite jumping she still got some minor scratches but was obviously very shaken by the incident.

PARKOUR ENTHUSIAST REMORSEFUL AFTER SCALING MALL'S GLASS ROOF, POLICE INVESTIGATING

Parkour practitioner Koh Chen Pin aka Denester has apologised for recklessly climbing the glass roof of Simei's Eastpoint mall. He has removed the video of him and other parkour enthusiasts performing stunts on top of the roof but someone has nevertheless lodged a police report against him. The police are investigating.

RWS DEFENDS "MEMORIAL" FOR FAKE MALL COLLAPSE AFTER DRAWING FLAK ONLINE

Disturbed Singaporeans who spotted a "memorial" for a non-existent mall collapse disaster took to Facebook over the weekend to express their bewilderment and disapproval of the exhibit, which is part of Resort World Sentosa's latest publicity campaign for this year's edition of its annual Halloween Horror Nights event to be held in September and October.

WATER LEAKAGE AT SINGAPORE MALL, MALLS NOW ATTRACTING FIRE AND WATER

What is happening to Singapore Malls? Monday and Tuesday there was fire at Ang Mo Kio Hub and NEX, and on Wednesday, there was a water leakage at 313@Somerset. According to reports, the water leakage caused a Singtel shop on the ground floor to close.

The water leakage apparently started form a faulty drainage pipe form Awfully Chocolate shop at the second floor. Scary now, are malls in Singapore being constructed too fast that damage pipes are fire hazards are a normal thing now?

NETIZENS RIDICULE IMM'S DO NOT STEP SIGNS ON FALSE CEILING

Following the unfortunate demise of a teenager at Orchard Central, who fell to his death following a stunt gone wrong, the management at IMM, a mall in Jurong, came fast and some say too furiously. Signs advising mall goers to avoid stepping on false ceilings and extended portions of mall space on the various floors have appeared, seemingly to warn mall goers for their own safety.

TAMPINES 1 MALL APOLOGISE TO THE MALAY COMMUNITY

After a Malay entrepreneur Ms Diana Hairul, emailed Tampines 1 mall to ask about rental of space for a Malay road show, the mall replied saying they "are not so keen to run a Malay road show as our target audience are mainly Chinese. We regret to inform you that we are unable to rent a space to you."

RETARDED "ACTIONS" BY PRCs SPOILT MY DAY AT NEX MALL

Let me share one incident. I was approaching Nex, walking towards the side entrance where there’s a manual 2 sided glass panel door. One needs to push or pull the doors to enter or exit. On one side I was 2 steps away approaching ( entry ) the doors & on the side one PRC young couple was about 9 steps away ( exit ). As i reached & pulled one of the doors open , the PRC couple immediately chiong ( dash ) towards the open door ( with me still holding the door ). As & before I can enter , they immediately forced their way out & me aside.
