On the 16 Dec 2015, I went to ICA to submit my PR application and since I'm there, I decided to also check on my LTVP application status as it has been 7+ weeks after my application but I've no news on the outcome. I was greeted with a smile from the officer and he asked for my NRIC politely. However he suddenly sounded nonchalantly that I should continue to wait. And since I've went to see my MP, the waiting time would take longer and I should not have done that. So what is the officer implying by saying that by looking up my MP, the waiting time will be longer and why is that so?

"I find Singaporeans people very lazy, very arrogant, and so often on sick leaves. Singapore is not even a good place where to live. Expensive, only concrete, unfriendly local people. I'm a Malaysian who, like many others Malaysian, have to wake up very early in the morning and walk across to Singapore to work everyday due to heavy jammed on causeway. As i've just mentioned, we (Malaysian's and Singaporean's), no matter on what purpose that we have to travel in and out through the checkpoints, either daily or occasionally, be well prepare and ready and also please do not blame and complaint about this or that when unpleasant situation happens.

As a Malaysian working in Singapore, I am very frustrated with the extremely super long queues at the checkpoints everyday for the past weeks! I wake up so early in the morning, start to queue at the custom and what happens? Your checkpoint authorities without informing closed the checkpoint to control the number of people flowing into Singapore? Thousands of us were trapped at the checkpoint, unable to enter Singapore for our jobs.

I think people like me who grew up in JB especially hate them being here because 1) they're super calculative to the extent of using a calculator to convert prices 2) they come in to buy our cheap stuff & end up hiking the prices 3) the most important reason ; THEY THINK THEY'RE FAR SUPERIOR THAN MALAYSIANS. I am an average Singaporean girl-next-door and after being in a dating scene for a while, I realised that Singaporean guys cannot compare to Malaysian guys. Even though Singaporean guys are generally more well-groomed, they still lack the confidence to carry themselves well. They are also more sheltered, dependent and like to hide behind their mother's apron strings. Yet they are super not realistic and always hope to be together with the chio-est girl in school or work even though these girls are way beyond their league. On the other hand, Malaysian guys are more independent and can be depended on because they do not lead such a pampered life and are more resourceful in getting things done.

A mysterious fall from a building has left a pretty 19 year-old Malaysian girl, who came to work in Singapore to support her family back home, paralyzed in one side of her body. The fall also left her with shattered bones in every part of her body and a hefty hospitalization bill after she received treatment locally. Her family, which was already in financial troubles before the incident, have now turned to kind hearted Singaporeans for help. Here is my opinion as a Malaysian: I am currently single and no girlfriend. Sometimes whenever I got to know a girl classmate (during university time) and workmate(during work time), I will always pay for our meeting where we consider it as a date to get to know each other and to understand each other likes and dislikes, what she love and hate and etc. I appreciate girls who makeup and dress decently (some dress sexy) just to meet us as a guy and to understand each other . They took effort to make sure that the first impression of meeting the guy in a date, be it dinner date, lunch date, or even coffee date( means u ask the girl out for a coffee time together) because to them first impression is very important to the guy and me would dress decently to make good first impression to the girls.

20 year-old Pasu Pathy Sangaran met his victim, a 40 year-old woman with an intellectual disability, at his job in Changi Airport. Both Pasu and the women worked as cleaners. Over the course of a few months, he had an intimate relationship with her and stole almost $22,000 worth of jewelry from her family. He was jailed 6 months yesterday for theft, criminal breach of trust and assault.
