A hacker, calling himself THE KNOWNS, who claims to be hacking Singapore websites in retaliation to Singapore government raising the toll rates at Woodlands. I believe the links to the KBOX database are going viral as we speak now. I checked the file and it's real! There are more than 300,000 names with IC number, telephone, emails and even occupation. The hacker(s) threatened to release more databases of Singapore companies if the PAP government does not reverse the decision to raise the rates at Woodlands.

JOSEPHINE TEO: S’PORE WILL MATCH MALAYSIA’S TOLL FEE

Singapore will ensure that its toll charges match Malaysia’s, as part of a “long-standing” matching policy which “reflects the shared nature of the two crossings, and ensures a fair distribution of total revenues from the crossings,” said Senior Minister of State (Finance and Transport) Josephine Teo in Parliament today (Sept 9). Since August, the Malaysian government had increased toll charges for all vehicles, except motorcycles, travelling from Singapore to Johor through the Causeway, and introduced a new Causeway toll for all vehicles travelling from Johor to Singapore. Those travelling from Johor to Singapore previously paid no tolls.

FAKE LTA PRESS RELEASE CIRCULATING ON INTERNET AND WHATSAPP

A press release supposedly by the Land Transport Authority about a five-fold increase in Causeway toll rates has been revealed to be a fake document, reported The Star. The release, which was circulated on Facebook and WhatsApp on Friday, carried the LTA logo and included a detailed table on the supposed revision in tolls. It also claimed the changes would kick in on Sept 15.

5-YEAR OLD GIRL GETS SEX DISEASE AFTER RAPED BY FATHER

A man in Kuching allegedly raped his five-year-old daughter and inflicted her with a sexually-transmitted disease, reported China Press. The girl's mother, who had divorced the man, suspected something amiss when the girl kept scratching her private part recently. The girl was then brought for a check-up at a hospital, where the mother was told that she had been raped and was now suffering from a sexually-transmitted infection. A police report was subsequently lodged.

FIREMEN CUTS FREE METAL RING STUCK AROUND MAN’S PENIS

A 22-year-old labourer suffered intense indignity on Sunday when Fire and Rescue Services personnel had to be called to remove a metal ring stuck around his penis in Kampung Dewan Beta here. He said three firemen took about two hours to safely cut the ring after they were sought by Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZ II), where he first sought treatment at about dawn. "I was only experimenting with the ring by sliding it around my genitals between 3am and 5am. Then, I realised I could not pull the ring out and it got stuck at the base of my penis," he said when met at the hospital.

Law-abiding citizens like me lose out. Perhaps the Singapore authorities should remove the three-quarter tank ruling. It is unlikely to cause much unhappiness across the Causeway as Singapore vehicles are restricted to buying the costlier and unsubsidised 97-octane petrol in JB.
