I am writing this post to warn fellow Singaporeans about a particular maid that had terrorized my family the past two weeks. Ernawati was not here to be a maid but a thief! She had the intention to steal right from the start! Took my Husband keys thinking that I will allow her to stay in my house till she finish her "work". She also knows that we were usually out during weekends. Perfect opportunity for her to get into my room to steal!

We had her for a year, tolerating and being kind to her cos we pity her and shes young we dont want to fire her and she be in debt. But we found her watching hundreds of pornography on my 5 year old kids Ipad. We counselled her but she decided to quit all of sudden without notice probably out of embarrassment. We went back to agency for advise only to have the agency telling us off that it is our mistake for counselling the maid for watching porn on my toddler Ipad. The staff said we should have just "let her be". After that the agency can even have the cheek to tell my friend she told us off for highlighting the watching porn issue to my maid. Utterly disrespectful. Other good agencies would have been more helpful since the maid addicting to porn is taking care of toddler. Who knoes what she can do to the child when we are not at home.

My brother and sister-in-law treats my mum like their maid. They would normally have lunch at nice restaurants before dropping their son at my mum's place. They dont even ta pao for my mum. The wife doesn't have any laundry to do at home except under garments & sleep wear. All her clothes are branded and sent to dry clean. She doesn't do housework. My mum & my bro do the housework. My mum still have to cook for them & sleep with her grand son. Whereas they enjoy peaceful night without the child crying & making noise especially when the child is sick.

My maid is always trying to stir things up at home, saying things that make me upset. I told my husband about it and he took her side saying I don't know how to teach my son and there is nothing wrong with her. He is always taking her side, shouting at me and scolding me whenever I found her with misdoings. When he did that, the maid will walk away smiling. Last year when I celebrated his birthday for him, he insisted the maid joined us else he would forgo the celebration. Even when she destroyed 2 of my husband Dior Homme shirts with iron and bleach, he just smiled and said next time don't do it again.

I notice that my filipina maid is lazy. She initially will change towels, curtains and sheets after more than a month. She always have her nails long even if I already told her to cut it short. We also agreed that her curfew from day off is max 10pm but now she doesnt adhere to the agreement. Every day off, she says that she goes to disco at Orchard Tower or Bugis. But she also told me that she wants to find a boyfriend (indian) because they give her money.

Why is this maid cleaning windows? It is very dangerous! I thought maids are not allowed to clean windows? This was spotted at Tanjong Ria.

A reader has sent us this distressing post about 2 maids who beat up a young girl who was throwing a tantrum and refusing to go home. Despite repeated reminders by the passerby, the 2 maids did not want to call the parents and only reluctantly did so after they were warned several times by others.

An angry reader has sent us this complaint about her maid from India, who she accuses of lying to her and stealing valuables from her home. Even more shockingly, our reader claims that the maid had submitted fake documents to gain employment here in Singapore, which makes her employment status illegal under Singapore law! Dear all, this was my previous helper here in Singapore. Her name is Laurence Angela Lardizabal Soria and might go for the last name Perez. I would just like to make a public note that we had already sent her back home to the Philippines after 3 offenses of lying and stealing from us. After giving her a chance the first and second time round, the last offence she commited was stealing money from my wallet.

Was here having lunch with my mum and saw this FDW with an old uncle opposite our table. The old uncle was having plain rice with veg and the FDW was having full plate of chicken wings, drumstick with rice. She was totally enjoying her food and ignoring the uncle even though he was coughing badly.
